Safety and Fraud Policy

Core precautions

Confirm identity and authority independently. Inspect a property and material documents with qualified professionals. Do not rely on a verification badge as a guarantee. Never send rent, deposits, purchase funds, conveyancing money or trust funds to SWD or through an SWD message.

Use a safe viewing plan, tell a trusted person where you are going, meet in appropriate conditions and leave if circumstances differ materially from the listing or arrangement. For an immediate threat, contact emergency services.

Payment safety

SWD platform fees are paid only through Stripe's embedded component opened from the authenticated SWD billing area. SWD does not request full card details by message, email or support. Treat changed bank details, urgent transfer demands, cryptocurrency requests and off-platform payment pressure as warning signs.

Risk controls

SWD uses authority checks, moderation, malware scanning, rate limits, audit trails, session revocation, provider webhooks and capability suspension. These controls reduce but cannot eliminate fraud or user misconduct.

Reporting and response

Report a listing, account, message, payment or safety concern through the relevant in-product control or ops@swdrealestate.com. Include provider or listing references, not passwords or complete payment-card data.

SWD may restrict access, preserve evidence, contact affected users, notify providers or authorities where lawful, and require additional verification. SWD triages credible reports by severity, restricts affected capabilities when needed, preserves relevant evidence, and notifies affected users when doing so is safe and lawful. Material incidents may be escalated to the payment or infrastructure provider, professional advisers, regulators or law-enforcement authorities as appropriate. Notification may be delayed where immediate notice would create a security, fraud, safety or legal-preservation risk.
